What is Adult-Ad?

Adult-Ad is a FREE service that allows adult website owners to exchange exit-traffic. Basically, when people visit your website, Adult-Ad will automatically display another member's website within the Adult-Ad network as soon as your visitor leaves your site.  Your own site will also be displayed to visitors that are visiting other member's sites. What is IntelliStitial (TM)?

Intellistitial is an Instititial Ad (basically a pop-up) which utilizes Adult-Ad's intelligent technology.  Intellistitial allows an advertiser's message/website to appear bigger than life to a web surfer thus maximizing on ad dollars while at the same time protects the web surfer from being irritated by general pop-ups.

Is it FREE to join Adult-Ad?

Yes, it's absolutely FREE!

Where do I log in and manage my account?

Go to www.adult-ad.com.  At the very top, key in your email and password and click on the arrow to proceed.  Once logged in, you can create an instance for each of your website/s and also manage stats, campaigns, etc.

What if i lost my password?

Go to www.adult-ad.com. Just below the login box, there's a 'Forgot my password' link. Click on this.  You'll be brought to a page which asks for your email address.  We will then email you your password.

If you are having problems with HTML in general, please go to the A Beginner's Guide to HTML. It has a lot of information for writing HTML documents.

The HTML code to place your Adult-Ad "Intellistitial code" onto your web site may be obtained with the "Get HTML Code" command in the Control Center of Adult-Ad.

Always use a browser and verify any changes you make to your web page.

  1. Plain Text Editors

    Here are directions for inserting your Adult-Ad HTML code using a plain text editor:

    1. Start an authoring tool (e.g. Notepad) and Open the source code for your web page.
    2. Copy and Paste* your Adult-Ad HTML code and Save the file.
    3. If your web page is on a remote server, upload the changes to the server.

    *Copying is a standard function which almost all Windows and Mac applications have. To Copy, highlight the text using the mouse and choose Edit from the menu bar at the top and then select Copy (Ctrl C). To Paste, place the cursor where you want to begin the Adult-Ad HTML code and select Edit then select Paste (Ctrl V).

    If you are having problems with submitting your changes, perhaps you are having permissions problems. Check with your system administrator for help with updating your web page.

  2. Netscape Composer

    Here are directions for inserting your Adult-Ad HTML code using Netscape Composer:

    1. On the menu bar, choose Edit | Preferences
    2. Choose Composer | Publishing
    3. Uncheck Maintain links and Keep images with page
    4. Click OK
    5. On the menu bar, choose Insert | HTML Tag
    6. Paste* the Adult-Ad HTML code exactly as it was given to you.

      IMPORTANT! Make sure the cursor is flush against the end of the Adult-Ad HTML code with no spaces or linebreaks. This editor is extremely picky. If the cursor is not flush against the end of the Adult-Ad HTML code, you'll get a Premature close of tag error message.

    7. Click OK

    That's it. You should see a yellow link symbol appear. If you preview the page, you should see the form. If you are using Netscape to publish your site, please remember to click Select None under Publish.

To Copy, highlight the text using the mouse and choose Edit from the menu bar at the top and then select Copy (Ctrl C). To Paste, place the cursor where you want to begin the Adult-Ad HTML code and select Edit then select Paste (Ctrl V).

  3. Netscape Gold

    Here are directions for inserting your Adult-Ad HTML code using Netscape Gold:

    1. On the menu bar, choose Options | Editor Preferences
    2. Click the Publish tab
    3. Uncheck Maintain links and Keep images with page
    4. Click OK
    5. On the menu bar, choose Insert | HTML Tag
    6. Paste* the Adult-Ad HTML code exactly as it was given to you.

  4. AOL Personal Publisher Version 2

    Here are directions for inserting your Adult-Ad HTML code using AOL Personal Publisher Version 2:

    1. Go to Personal Publisher
    2. Select Edit Page
    3. Click the HTML button on the Add Contents Box.
    4. Paste* the Adult-Ad HTML code into the Free-From HTML box.
    5. Click OK
    6. Then click on View
    7. Finally click on Publish after you see the form.

    Remember that you can always revert to the backup file if your page becomes too messed up to handle.

  5. AOL Press

    Here are directions for inserting your Adult-Ad HTML code using AOL Press:

    1. Launch AOL Press.
    2. Click on Tools
    3. Select Show HTML (It is in this mode where you should Copy and Paste* the Adult-Ad HTML code)
    4. Make sure you Paste the Adult-Ad HTML code after the <BODY > tag and before the </BODY> tag.

    Remember that you can always revert to the backup file if your page becomes too messed up to handle.

    4. Select HTML MARKUP
    5. Enter your Adult-Ad HTML code (Complete with brackets, etc.) NOTE: You must type in the Adult-Ad HTML code manually (you cannot Copy and Paste)!
    6. Press OK.

    This should insert the Adult-Ad HTML code into your page. Please note that it won't show the Adult-Ad form unless your network connection is active!

  7. Page Mill

    Here are directions for inserting your Adult-Ad HTML code using Page Mill:

    1. Place the cursor where you want to place the Adult-Ad HTML code and type <!--NOEDIT-->
    2. Select Edit | Paste
    3. Type <!--/NOEDIT--> after the Adult-Ad HTML code.
    4. Now Save your document and FTP or upload it to your server (if necessary).

    Make sure the Adult-Ad HTML code is placed after the <BODY > tag and before the </BODY> tag.

  8. Web TV

    Here are directions for inserting your Adult-Ad HTML code using Web TV:

     

    1. Place the cursor where you want to begin the Adult-Ad HTML code.

    3. Save your document and submit it for publishing online.

    2. There should be an option to Insert HTML or View HTML. It is in this mode that you want to Copy and Paste the Adult-Ad HTML code.
    3. To Copy, highlight your Adult-Ad HTML code using the mouse and Select Edit then select Copy*
    4. After you've decided on where to insert the Adult-Ad HTML code, place the cursor where you want to begin the Adult-Ad HTML code and select Edit then select Paste*
